To protect the lives and assets of Daegu’s 2.37 million residents in the face of a vast range of accidents and disasters, many of which are becoming increasingly large and complex, we at the Daegu Fire Department engage in disaster prevention and response efforts based on faithfulness to the basics and extensive field expertise.

We are working on a safety management system that, based on our city’s vision (“Powerful Daegu: Full of Freedom and Vitality”), ensures a safe and fulfilling life for every Daegu resident by staying one step ahead of disaster.
